‘Dance from Noah’ by Delia Derbyshire was made in 1971 and when it was broadcast on ‘Sculptress of Sound: The Lost Works of Delia Derbyshire‘, some people couldn’t actually believe that this could have been produced in 1971, pre-techno! When I was watching ‘The Alchemists of Sound‘ earlier today, an article was referenced in response to this disbelief, stating that, yes, it was produced in the early 70s and was ground-breaking for this era.
